Director Labour Market Partnerships
Province of Nova Scotia

As Director of Labour Market Partnerships with the Nova Scotia Department of Education, Sandra is responsible for coordination of the Skills Nova Scotia Framework. The Framework supports the development of a skilled and well trained workforce as a foundation for social and economic development. Key areas of responsibility include: planning, coordination, and implementation of the Skills Framework; labour market research and analysis; labour market information products and services; labour market policy; and the creation of a continuum of career development and employment counselling. She is also responsible for Inter-Governmental Relations associated with labour market matters. Sandra has an undergraduate degree from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and a Masters in Public Administration from Dalhousie University. She lives in Dartmouth, the City of Lakes, with her partner, three children and various animals.
