Janet Plante

Janet Plante is the CEO and majority shareholder in Davco Solutions Inc, a full service Machine Shop, Welding, Fabricating, Mechanic, Millwright, and Industrial Design Company. With a strong background in administration, accounting and computer technology, Janet is also a Level III certified curling coach and has volunteered for junior competitive and college level coaching for many years. Janet is one of the founders and President of the Celebrating Northern Women (CNW) Society and currently sits on the Forest Industry Suppliers and Logging Association (FISLA) board of directors.

Davco Solutions Inc. was recognized with the 2006 Grande Prairie & District Chamber Of Commerce Best Practices Award for their retention strategies. Currently Davco is also a finalist for the Alberta Business Award of Distinction for the Employer of Youth category.
