Jean-Pierre Voyer
Social Research and Demonstration Corporation (SRDC)
Jean-Pierre Voyer is the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Social Research and Demonstration Corporation (SRDC), a non-profit organization that specializes in the design, implementation and evaluation of large-scale demonstration projects. Prior to that, Mr. Voyer was the Executive Director of the Policy Research Initiative at the Privy Council Office and from 1994 to 2000 he was Director General of the Applied Research Branch at Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC). During his career, Mr. Voyer has held positions at Finance Canada, the National Union of Provincial Government Employees, and the Economic Council of Canada. He was Chairman of the OECD Education, Labour and Social Affairs Committee from 1998 to 2000. He currently sits on the research advisory committees of several research projects and organizations, including the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada’s Standing Committee on Research Support. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Queen’s University.
